The Nottingham Post heeft een recensie van het concert, gisteravond.
“A hits tour was promised and that is exactly what an ecstatic crowd got. Opening with a barrage of I Can’t Explain, Substitute and The Kids Are Alright, they threw out classics like confetti. Daltrey hits notes which he shouldn’t be able to hit at 69 and Townshend’s glory is multi-fold, his writing, singing and playing are all sublime.
But this was not the skinny hipped, lanky haired duo who performed with the energy of their earliest vintage; that Who has gone now, and for 50% of their classic line up, sadly literally. But for this final tour, Townshend and Daltrey, together with a six piece group including Townshend’s brother, Simon, and Ringo Starr’s son, Zak Starkey on drums and Pino Palladino on bass, did a great impression“
